Creators' Engagement Experiment
On last week's creators' call we agreed to do an engagement experiment to help each other kick-off and boost our Locals.com communities. I'll be sending an email shortly with assignments for each creator, advisor and co-founder with my best guess at synergy, so we can spread the love.
If you'd like to get in on the fun... AND if I don't already have your email address, please email or text me at:

Here are the instructions:
1) Create a 12-month "creators promo code" and share it with the team by email so we can all participate in your community.
2) Create 1 community relevant content post (not a promotional post) on 5 different tier 2 Locals.com communities. (Refer to the email for assignments).
3) Consume 1 piece of creator/owner content on each of the 5 Locals.com communities and write a question/comment/critique about it.
4) Promote your own Locals.com community with your 3-month member promo code on external social media so people can potentiality come to your site and see the engagement being generated and take part. I will retweet you if you're on Twitter @Eric_Boyd_IRL
Leave your comments and questions.
Simple as that! Watch for my email!

Question: With the new articles feature, will this have the same general rules of SEO as Google? If not, what's the rule set to get good results? And where does the search show? Are the articles largely for our audiences or will they draw additional folks in (assuming not set subscribers only)?
I know how to google-fu a good blog, but would be helpful to know what the rules of engagement here are. Oh, and are the articles searchable on other platforms?
Thanks!
